The latest generation RF amplifiers are built using Mos-Fet and Ld-Mos technologies, they are completely redundant and broadband, allowing easy and rapid channel changes within the operating band. The modu-lar construction of the equipment makes it very reliable and facilitates maintenance and control operations. Even in case of an internal partial failure the amplifier will continue to operate at reduced power. All units are provided with high efficiency "switching" power supply, multifunctio  digital display, RS 232 interface for remote control, SWR protection cir-cuit with "auto-reset", and protections for over-voltage, high temperatu-re, over-drive and current limit. The digital display continuously moni-tors the following parameters: incident and reflected peak output power, voltage and current for each power supply, circulating air and heatsink temperatures and threshold limits for temperature and SWR protections (adjustable from the front panel).
