DVB-T Transmitter

The Digital Transmitters DEX and BFX series are available for all VHF and UHF bands with an output power from 2W rms to 3000W rms. The DEX series is a 3HE rack size transmitter composed of plug-in modules which integrate the DVB-T modulator. The BFX system includes the DEX exciter, a power final stage and the output filter. DEX and BFX compose a complete transmission system of high stability and efficient COFDM signals at 2K or 8K with QPSK, 16QAM or 64QAM modulations. The standard ATSC 8VSB is available as optional. All DVB modulator operating parameters can be easily set by jumpers inside the module including modulation type, FEC, guard interval, carriers number and bandwidth. Both DX and DFX can become a DUAL CAST Transmitter by adding to the system the Analog Modulator and the Timer Module, which makes possible the selectable switching between the two transmitting modes (analog or digital) in three different ways: automatic, manual or by remote control.
