The latest production S/F series TV transmitters are 100% solid state and com-posed by an EBX exciter-driver, a final amplifier made of one or more basic FNL amplifiers (1KW or 1.5KW), input output combiners and one output filter. All modular components are mounted in a one or more 19" rack cabinets. The transmitters are available for every Television Standard and for all frequency bands VHF I, VHF III and UHF, with output powers up to 20KW. To achieve the desired power capacity, the basic amplifiers are coupled from a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 20. Each basic amplifier is completely independent and it is possible to remove one or more amplifiers at any time, without interrupting the transmission, during maintenance operations. All operating parameters are monitored by a display and are constantly controlled by microprocessor circuits which, in case of any abnormality, can manage the SWR and temperature protections. |
